Q: Is a DVD better than a VHS tape?
A: Yes.

Q: Is a CD better than an LP record or cassette tape?
A: Yes.

Q: Can your recordable DVDs be played in my DVD player?
A: About 90% of players can play a recordable DVD. Please check your player before placing an order.


Q: What tape formats can you convert to DVD?
A: We can transfer your movies from the following  formats:

  • VHS (VCR Tape)
  • Super VHS (S-VHS)
  • Hi8 or Video8 (The small tapes from your old camcorder)
  • Mini DV (The small tapes from your new digital camcorder)

Q: What TV/video standards do you accept?
A: We accept NTSC video tapes only.

Q: I would like to have a DVD in PAL, but I have an NTSC tape. Are you able to convert it?
A: Orders are restricted to NTSC, region 1.

Q: Does the conversion from VHS to DVD suffer from loss of quality?
A: No. Actually the quality of the final DVD will be either the same or slightly better dependeing on the specific video.                                                               Digital processing naturally performs some filtering. As always, the higher the original quality is, the better final result will be. 

Q: Will my DVD be copy-protected?
A: No.
